Hui Chin and I flew out of Auckland
in the early hours of Saturday 1 September 2002 to one
of our greatest adventure, heading towards Papeete,
Tahiti.
Crossing the dateline, arriving in Papeete before we
left Auckland.
We've in fact gained an extra day in our lives, which
we'll have to surrender on our way back.
We've thoroughly enjoyed our trip.
There were many enjoyable moments, sights and experiences.
Moments, sights and experiences, that Hui Chin and I'll
treasure for the rest of our lives.
Besides the many highlights of course there were frustrations,
disappointments in people, services etc.
I'll return to this during my account.
Who wouldn't treasure the memory of riding a four wheeled
motorbike, across Easter Island to look at all the wonderful
sights to be seen there, or walking amongst the ruins
of Machu Pichu, or getting soaking wet under Iguazu
Falls.
During 2009 Hui Chin and I vent back to some of previously visited
places, some of the pictures are on these pages.
