On these pages I will deal with two of my hobbies and passions.
I like to travel and I like to take pictures and visiting all
those places, I see many visiting people doing just the same
things, travelling, visiting and taking photographs or movies.
I already have a travel page, listing most of the places my family
and I have visited, but on these following pages I will
try to list them in a more chronological order.
I have many photographs and I have visited many, many other
places that I can't at this stage anyway, categorise.

We decided to take an interesting and quite comprehensive
trip during 1996.
At the end of March 1996 I left Auckland for a three months
of touring around the Pacific Ocean, U.S.A., Canada, Caribbean,
Hungary and the Siberian Express, over Russia, Asia,
China finishing in Hong Kong about 14 weeks later.
I left Auckland - Hui Chin and Endre were to join me in about a
month's time in Budapest - for

Honolulu,
Honolulu,
Pearl Harbour,
Waikiki
than to
Los Angeles
(Beverly Hills,
Hollywood,
Universal Studios,

Canada
than I taken a bus to
Seattle
back in U.S.A. and fly to
Las Vegas
and also visit

and take a tram trip to
Tijuana,
in
Mexico
than back to Sandiego and to
New Orleans,
Chicago
and to
Toronto
in Canada again, than to
Niagara Falls (Canada)
and to
Niagara U.S.A.,
Niagara Falls U.S.A.,
Buffalo,
Toledo,
Utica,
Williams,
Boston,
Syracuse,
New York,
(Empire State Building, Twin Towers, Times Square, Statue of Liberty, etc.),
Washington D.C.
(White House, 'Capitol', Arlington, & Pentagon Tours, Chinatown
etc.), and to
Miami,
Miami Beach
from where I left the U.S.A. for
Kingston,
(Port Royal)
in
Jamaica
where a few days later I boarded a flight to Europe
and Hungary in particular.
Budapest,
(Basilica of Saint Stepehen,
Children's Railways)
and all other major and not so major tourist, historical etc.
attractions, sights, than went to visit
Veszprém,
Tihany,
Szigliget,
Visegrád,
Esztergom,
Balassagyarmat,
Patvarc,
Szügy,
Endrefalva,
Salgótarján,
Hollókõ,
Szécsény,
Ózd
as usual back to Budapest for a few more days than fly to
Rome
for a couple of days in
Italy
before going on to
Athens
in
Greece
than to
Bangkok
in
Thailand
and back to
Singapore
again for a few days
before flying home to Auckland.
N.B. I had a very comprehensive
Trans-Siberian Express ticket from Moscow, to Nizhny
Novgorod, Ekaterinburg, Krasnoyarks, Irkutsk, Ulan Ude,
Ulaan Baatar, Beijing, Shijiazhuang, Zhengzhou, Wuhan,
Changsha, Guangzhou, Hong Kong.
Due to family and medical reasons I had to take an
alternative route to fly home to Auckland with my
family from Budapest.
