Mali facts & history in
brief
Mopti is two towns with one name and nearly 10
km. gap between them.
We had a few memorable experiences in Mopti, like the
power cuts, no air-conditioner, only ceiling fan, miserable
breakfast, breaking down 60 km from Mopti, the theatricals
of the ute driver, and our Taxi's flat tyre, to mention
a few, which you can read up on my Mali
page, to understand the whole story.
