Occupies an area of 49,035 sq km and is bounded by Poland, Ukraine,
Hungary, Austria and the Czech Republic and dominated by the Carpathian
mountains, with the the Gerlach Shield at a height of 2,655 m.

Vojka nad Dunajom (Vajka in
Hungarian) is a small settlement
on the small interconnected islands
in the many branches of the Danube
river between Györ and Bratislava.
We visited, because it was
there and we had a car to take us
there.
That's my story, anyway.
