cultural centre of Thailand.
The city is a fast-growing metropolis.
More than 10 per cent of the Thai
people live in Bangkok.
The main industries are jewellery,
electronics, food processing, textiles
and building materials.
Bangkok has many magnificent temples
and palaces, like the Grand Palace.
Population over 6 million.
