in brief
Fukuoka
Fukuoka on the Hakata Bay, in the
northwestern part of the island of
Kyushu, is an important commercial centre.
Its factories produce electrical goods,
textiles, machinery, rubber, paper,
pottery, plate glass and dolls.
Population over 1 million.
We arrived to Fukuoka or Hakata, (A suburb of
Fukuoka, and the the Shinkansen Station is located here)
to be precise by the 'Bullet-train' from Hiroshima.
We've found the local people very friendly,
the city beautiful and plenty to see.
