Waioru
is a small settlement at the
southern end of the 'Desert Road'.
A popular rest stop before or after
the journey through the 'Desert Road'.
Waioru is also home to one of the
largest 'Army Camp' in the North Island.
The name 'camp' is a bit of a misnomer,
because it is more permanent
than just being a camp.
