Nightcaps
I have to admit I do not know,
and can't find out very much about Nightcaps.
It is a small settlement near the
bottom of the South Island.
It is probably much smaller
than it once was, as many settlements
around New Zealand, due to the world-wide
trend of 'urban shift', - the
population slowly drifting to large
urban settlements for job opportunities
and better services and entertainment.
There are some coal mines nearby and
once used to be listed on train schedules
as Ohai-Nightcaps or vice versa,
I am not sure now.
It was assumed humourous as many
trains ran at night.
I don't either places are
served by trains these days.
