South Island
New Zealand facts & history in brief

Moeraki Boulders
is another tourist attraction
on the East Coast of the South
Island between Oamaru and Dunedin.
There are many perfectly spherical boulders
on the beach, with hexagonal like
sections defined.
Some of the boulders are broken open
like eggs and inside showing similar sections.
First thing that came to my mind
seeing the rocks, were alien spaceships.
I even sat inside some of them,
imagining having squinty eyes,
long pointy ears, steering
my 'spaceship' towards Earth,
to be taken 'to your leader'.
