is on the Waikato River banks and
is the fourth largest city in the country.
The city services a rich dairy farming
region, with a population of about
160 000 people.
There is a large manufacturing industry,
processing milk into a
variety of dairy products and many
other enterprises.
Within the city are the Ruakura
Agricultural Research Centre
and the Massey University.
