Recsk is a small village in northern Hungary, where the communist had one of their infamous labour camps for political prisoners.

My family was made to live in the then village library for a while.

Probably to intimidate my father, that he too could end up there too.

These photos were scanned from B&W and 'artificially' coloured.
It was hard to get colour film in Hungary those days, but not impossible.
