Spain facts and history in brief
Hui Chin and I travelled to Madrid, Spain from
Lisbon, Portugal, by the famous Talgo express with our
Eurail Pass.
We were a bit lucky to get to Hendaye, considering there
was a railway strike somewhere in southern France.
We did know we'll have trouble getting to Lourdes and
back, but we didn't what other trains or lines were
affected.
With the help of a kind Lisbon man, who first seen and
Lourdes and thought of him being an Englishman, kindly
escorted us to the little train station in Hendaye to
Irun and from the train's in Irun to the Lisbon express's
station.
With his help we managed to catch our train, which we
probably would have missed otherwise.
