There's isn't very much I know or I can find out about Piombino. We had to take a train from Naples to Livorno, where we had to change to smaller regional train to Piombino. Hui Chin and I took a ferry from Piombino to the Island of Elba. On the way back from Elba I couldn't miss to notice all the signs of major industries of Piombino. We boarded our train at Piombino to Livorno again, heading towards Florence, Bologna and Milan. A lovely little train that runs to and from Piombino.
