CivitavecchiaItaly Italy facts and history in brief Civitavecchia is a small town northeast of Rome, with a busy port serving ferries and boats to many of Italy's islands, like Sardinia. Hui Chin and I arrived to Civitavecchia from Sardinia. The town has many attractions, including a fortified castle facing the waterfront. We had a quick look around, just to make sure everything was OK. and took a train to Rome and than a fast Italian Eurostar to Naples. Some of my photos of Civitavecchia (Click to enlarge)
