TrianonFrance
Trianon or more precisely The Grand Trianon and the Petit Trianon are part of the Versailles Royal Palace complex. They are near the far end of the Gardens and a long walk from the main buildings.
I had to go and visit the place with Hui Chin, Hungary was a major victim of the 1919 Treaty of Versailles. (The Treaty of Trianon, the son of the Treaty of Versailles, that affected Hungary really). There's a small train that whips visitors around the gardens, but Hui Chin and I couldn't afford it. Half way around the gardens Hui Chin and I got very tired. Hui Chin sat down and I walked the rest of the distance to take some photos of the palaces, since they are synonymous with Hungary losing 2/3 of it's 1000 year old size, by the peace treaty that was signed here, after the First World War and given big pieces (More like big hunks) of our country away.
