NiceFrance Nice is the capital of the French Riviera and home to many retired and rich people, because it's all year around beautiful Mediterranean weather. Nice with the other Cote d'Azure's famous cities, like Cannes and Monaco always very attractive to the tourist and thousands do come, especially during the Carnival of Nice in February and March every year.
We did enjoy ourselves. Another town Hui Chin and I had to visit and we liked the city's new tramways being built now. Will be terrific. We caught a fast ferry from here to Corsica (See my Corsica page).
