DaxFrance Dax is a small city in south western France, Landes department, in Gascony, on the Adour River. It is for its hot mineral springs and has many old chateaux, castles and fortresses and wine in the surrounding area. There is an aviation school is in the town, apart from many other attractions. Population about 25,000.
We found it a very cute little town and an important transport centre. We ended up there twice and spent some time, explored it thoroughly, but I couldn't find out very much about in anywhere.
