CannesFrance Every year for two weeks in May the many eyes in world turn to Cannes and the annual film festival. This Cote d'Azure town grown into one of the rich people's residence from a small fishing village. Cannes has a long sandy beach and a beautiful seafront promenade. Le Suquet, the old town, on a steep hill, with very narrow streets over looks the Riverian beaches. Population about 70,000.
Cannes was one of the cities in France, that Sarolta and I visited during our trip around in Europe in 1978. We did enjoy our stay here,
Hui Chin and I had a look around Cannes for awhile. I liked the city's battery operated buses.
